PANCHAKARMA

Ayurveda’s quintessential detoxifcation and rejuvenation system

A sacred deep cleanse and restoration of the mind, body, and spirit

3 PHASES:

PURVA KARMA: 8-10 days of preparation.

Includes a simplified but deeply nourishing, detoxifying, and satisfying diet, taking into account the season and each client’s individual needs. This phase also entails daily self-care practices and detoxifying herbs. While you can still work and tend to life and family during this phase, your energy will likely start to wain, and mild detox symptoms might occur, though the goal is to minimize this as much as possible. A general slowing down is recommended, as this is a time to direct energy inward. This is a time to create space for deeper healing and connecting to your deeper wisdom, your truest self.

PANCHAKARMA: 5 days of deep cleanse.

This incredibly special phase includes 5 days of ancient Ayurvedic therapies at my office in Seattle. You will spend 3.5-4 hours each day receiving abhyanga (warm herbal oil massage), shirodhara, external basti, and an herbal steam, as well as any other therapies that I think will help restore balance (i.e. garshana/dry brushing, castor oil or clay packs, sinus treatment). You will feel completely nurtured and cared for each day, in a way most can’t quite describe. Many people say this week is the best they’ve ever felt, and the space had allowed them to reunite or connect with their own beautiful spirit in a life-changing way. During this phase you will be dedicating all of your time to receiving these incredible therapies, as well as continuing to cook for yourself at home, and continuing some essential self-care practices; so it is almost necessary to take time off from school, work, or other major obligations during these 5 days, at least.

PASCHAT KARMA (Rasayana): the rejuvenation or rebuilding phase, following the deep cleanse

This rejuvenation phase is imperative to the entire process. At the end of detoxification (phase 2) you will be like a new baby or seedling, fresh but vulnerable, prepared to build anew. You will slowly ease out of the limited diet that was recommended during phase 1 and 2, and will slowly rebuild your digestive strength. You will also begin taking one or more rasayana herbs, and continue with certain self-care practices to help prevent imbalances from returning. We will meet 4 weeks after your panchakarma to see how you’re progressing, and make adjustments to your protocol if needed. The effects of panchakarma will continue to unfold in the days and weeks ahead.

Cost includes 5 days of hands-on therapies (3.5-4 hours/day) + 3 Consults:

1. Initial consult to determine your imbalances and goals

2. Once I design your individualized plan we will meet again to go over the plan and answer any questions or concerns you might have, making sure you feel fully prepared and supported before you begin your Purva Karma (preparatory phase).

3. Follow-up consult to discuss how you’re doing after the panchakarma and to make adjustments to your protocol if needed.

*Consults can be conducted virtually or in-person

$2300 (option for payment plan)

Cost does not include food, herbs, or supplies needed to carry out at-home self-care recommendations. The cost of herbs and supplies (not food) is typically between $100-$200, depending on your specific needs, and whether or not your already have some of the supplies (i.e. oils, enema bag).

I also offer modified panchakarmas for those who can’t afford the full 5 days of hands-on therapies or for those who can’t take that much time off of work/school/life. You could choose to only receive in-person therapies for 1, 2, or 3 days, at $400 each day + $300 for the 3 consults.

If you’d like a complimentary chat to discuss whether a panchakarma is right for you, I’d be delighted to do that! Send me an email below to schedule a free chat or to begin the scheduling process! It would be a true honor to guide you through this ancient and most healing experience.
